Oprah is a media mogul, actress and talk show host from the United States. She has also written books and produced television. Her most famous show is The Oprah Winfrey Show. From 1986 to 2011, this talk show was broadcast on national television. Winfrey, who grew up poor in rural Mississippi, used to be known as “Queen of all media”. She was molested when she was a young child, and at 14 became pregnant. She then became a radio presenter and at 19, co-anchored the local evening news.
Winfrey’s first show focused on literature, spirituality, self-improvement, and mindfulness. Later, she branched into politics. In 2008, Winfrey founded her own network, the Oprah Winfrey Network. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Oprah is always honest about her lack of marriage and children. In a People magazine interview she stated that she doesn’t regret her decision. Winfrey wanted to spend time with her dog, Stedman Graham and her partner when she returned home.
