Soham murders case Review:
The Soham Murders refers to the murders of Holly Marie Wells (10 year old) and Jessica Aimee Chapman (11 year old). Ian Kevin Huntley was a Soham caretaker who lured the girls to his house and then killed them. On 18 December 2003, Ian Kevin Huntley was questioned.
Ian tried initially to cover it up. He was later linked to the murders. Michael Bichard, the head of the inquiry, provided clear guidelines to school administration and police for verifying/investigating people who were interested in working with children at Soham Village College in Bichard Report.

The founder of village colleges is Henry Morris, Chief Education Officer for Cambridgeshire. Soham was established in 1972 as a co-educational school that served more than 1,400 students aged 11-18 years.
Soham Free School was established in 1686. It later became Soham Grammar School. In 1878 it was reestablished and then moved to Beechurst House. In 1958, Soham Village College was revived with a second modern-style facility located on 11 acres in the catchment area. The college was removed from the local government’s control in 1993.
